Another Glance at the GPS

TVNewser noted the announced premiere of Fareed Zakaria‘s new CNN program, “Fareed Zakaria — GPS,” next Sunday at 1pmET.

GPS stands for “global public square,” and it will air each Sunday. It was announced today that Liza McGuirk will EP the program.

McGuirk most recently served as a freelance documentary producer for some of Christiane Amanpour‘s projects, and previously was a producer at CBS News and CNN.

“This is a unique opportunity to do a program that brings the world to America and America to the world, and only CNN has the global platform to make this possible,” Zakaria said in the release.
