As The Fishbowl Turns…

fishbowl_1-8.jpgIf you haven’t already heard, FishbowlDC editor Patrick Gavin is leaving his post after more than three years to take a job at Politico. We’re sad to see him go and wish him luck as he will be “spearheading and hosting several online features: Video interviews, features, event coverage and Politico podcasts.”

But it also means we’re looking for a new Washington, D.C. media blogger for FBDC. You can check out the job listing here — below is a preview:

You should be a fearless reporter with experience breaking news and beating the competition to the punch, willing to chat up high-profile moguls, ready and able to cover media events in astonishing numbers, and itching to contribute as many original, newsy posts each day as humanly possible. Needless to say, you’re also a devout reader of FishbowlDC and every media outlet on its blogroll, you’ve got contact list packed with D.C.-area media pros, and you don’t just read Drudge, but you break news that belongs there.

Think you’re up for it? Apply now.
