Beck: “I Will Never Say What I Don’t Believe”

beck_2-7.jpgCamilla A. Herrera of The Stamford Advocate spent a day with Glenn Beck for a profile of the new FNC host.

Beck talks about the move from HLN to FNC. “He makes no apologies for feeling more at home at Fox News than he did at CNN, where he had his own show for two years until he landed the Fox gig late last fall,” writes Herrera. “Fox is where, he says, he can ‘stick out,’ where he can consistently tell ‘the story of what I see in America, according to me.’”

She also sits in on a staff meeting at FNC HQ, and describes an exchange between Beck and some on his staff. “In the midst of heated banter and discussion, Beck voiced concern that the research be plentiful and accurate,” she writes. “Though he contributed many of the talking points, which he jotted on note cards and kept on hand during the show (but rarely consulted), he urged everyone to confirm and substantiate everything.”

“There are many things I believe that I will not say,” says Beck. “But I will never say what I don’t believe.”
