Former Obama White House chief of staff Bill Daley is joining CBS News as a contributor.
Daley ruled out a run for Illinois governor last month. His father and brother were both longtime mayors of Chicago.
On “CBS This Morning” last week, Daley said the calls for the firing of HHS secretary Kathleen Sebelius over the Obamacare website debacle is “kind of like firing Captain Smith on the Titanic after it hit the iceberg. It’s not going to do much right now.”
Prior to his role in the Obama White House, Daley was a Vice Chairman of JPMorgan Chase and before that was president of SBC Communications.
