Bill O’Reilly on Penn, Blitzer and Meghan McCain
As Bill O’Reilly enters his 100th month as the host of the top-rated cable news show, The Hollywood Reporter asks him who will one day knock him off the top spot. “It’s hard to speculate,” says O’Reilly. “We’re so far ahead now, and my competitors have been around long enough so that they have already been sampled. So it would have to be somebody new.”
He also names “60 Minutes” one of his favorite TV shows, and gives his take on CNN. “I think Wolf Blitzer does a nice job, and Anderson Cooper is an honest guy,” he says.
O’Reilly also talked about his boycott of Sean Penn movies in the interview, and later revisited the topic when he was a guest on “The View” today (he does call Penn’s acting “brilliant”). Also discussed in “The View” interview: Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Meghan McCain vs. Laura Ingraham.
