FNClogo2Like the other cablenewsers, Fox News Channel saw a decline in viewership compared to Oct. 2013 when extensive coverage was given to the government shutdown. For the month, FNC was down -7% in both viewers and the A25-54 demo for total day viewing; and down -8% in viewers and the demo in primetime. “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” and “Special Report with Bret Baier” each had their most-watched months in the demo this year. FNC was the fourth most-watched network on all of cable in total viewers. The channel has now been the most-watched cable news network for 154 consecutive months. In primetime, “The O’Reilly Factor,” “The Kelly File” and “Hannity” beat CNN and MSNBC combined in total viwers and A25-54 in each of their respected time slots.
