Lost Remote reports on the event partnership launching tonight between “BuzzFeed Brews,” Facebook, and “CBS This Morning.”
“CTM” continues as “BuzzFeed Brews’” broadcast production partner, having previously produced interviews with Jerry Seinfeld and Richard Plepler. Tonight’s interview features Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian and BuzzFeed’s Charlie Warzel, taking place at a local New York City Bar and streaming live on Facebook for the first time via BuzzFeed’s page.
“We’ve had a great experience working with Facebook team on a number of projects including our Grammys coverage, and they seemed like the perfect complement to our growing partnership with BuzzFeed,” “CTM” EP and CBS VP of programming Chris Licht tells TVNewser. “We’re always looking to reach new audiences, and this partnership is an exciting extension of the “CBS This Morning” brand.”
“It’s great to see BuzzFeed values what a powerful platform Facebook is for distribution and engagement,” Andy Mitchell, Facebook’s Director for News and Global Media Partnerships tells TVNewser.
The interview will stream live on Facebook at 6:30pmET.
