CNBC LAUNCHES CNBC INVESTOR NETWORK TO GIVE VIEWERS INSTANT ANALYSIS FROM LEADING TRADING FLOORS COAST-TO-COAST

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Oct. 22, 2007 — The best, most experienced team in business news is getting even bigger and better. CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today announced it has launched the CNBC Investor Network, which will take viewers live to trading floors across America to provide real-time, instant analysis of what is moving the markets.

The CNBC Investor Network installed next generation web cams on leading trading floors in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Greenwich, Conn., Durham, N.C. and Annapolis, Md. so traders can instantly appear on CNBC to provide information that is comprehensive, fast, accurate and actionable.

The technologically innovative setup allows CNBC, America’s Business Channel, to tap into a vast, critical resource that until now hasn’t been leveraged on television: thousands of financial professionals across the country who live, breathe and digest market data each day. These individuals who comprise the CNBC Investor Network are on the front lines of the very stories reported each business day by CNBC and are of such critical importance to CNBC’s viewers.

“CNBC is always looking for new and innovative ways to deliver breaking news,” said Jonathan Wald, Senior Vice President, Business News. “Now, with the CNBC Investor Network, viewers will get instant analysis directly from leading traders live as it’s happening on trading floors across the country.”
