CNBC’s Bill Griffeth Signs Off… For Now

Griffeth_11.25.jpgIt was an emotional send-off for one of the CNBC originals this afternoon. As we first reported earlier this month, “Power Lunch” co-anchor Bill Griffeth is taking a leave of absence from CNBC for the next year.

Griffeth got a round of applause from the newsroom and hugs from his co-anchors Sue Herera and Michelle Caruso-Cabrera as he told the audience, “Life is a multi-legged stool and your job is only one of those legs. So, do take the time… have the courage, take the time to do something for yourself. I know I am fortunate to take the whole year off, but even if it’s not a whole year, take some time off for yourself.”
