CNN Films has acquired another feature film for its stable: “Sole Survivor.” The film will debut tonight at the Traverse City Film Festival, and will air on CNN sometime next year.
“Sole Survivor” is about the sole survivors of plane crashes. There have been only 14, and one of them, a man named George Lamson Jr, seeks the other 13.
“We are delighted about Sole Survivor as our latest CNN Films acquisition,” said Amy Entelis, senior VP Talent and Content Development for CNN Worldwide in a statement. “We think the universal life questions explored in this film will resonate with our viewers — who will learn that there was so much more to these stories.”
