Cochran, Westin, Williams Honored

The Radio Television Digital News Foundation (RTDNF) will honor RTDNA President Emeritus Barbara Cochran at the 20th Anniversary First Amendment Awards Dinner in March.

Cochran, who is married to ABC Newsman John Cochran, retired earlier this year after 12 years at the helm of RTNDA. She is a former VP and Washington bureau chief for CBS News and EP of NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Cochran is among several honorees at the black tie dinner including
ABC News president David Westin who will receive the First Amendment Leadership Award; and NBC’s Brian Williams who will receive the Leonard Zeidenberg First Amendment Award.
