CBS Producer Fired: Couric Inserts Her Personal Memories Into Notebooks?
"A majority of the stories regarding Ms. Couric and the plagiarism flap are missing an important note," an observer writes to TVNewser. "Through a dear friend and former colleague of mine, who now works for The CBS Evening News, I have an understanding of how these 'notebooks' are put together.
After the assigned producer writes the bulk of the script, Ms. Couric edits and inserts even more personal views/memories/stories, etc. The 'I remember my first trip to the libraray' was, in fact, written by Ms. Couric, so the assertion that this was a 'fake' memory, is incorrect..."
