Couric’s More “Relaxed” Newscast

dnc_8-24.gifEarly in the first-ever CBSNews.com/CNET.com Convention Cast, anchor Katie Couric explained, “We can have a little more time, be a little more loosey-goosey and relaxed, and chat about what we saw tonight.”

One TVNewser emailer described it as, “like the Today show crossed with CBS News.”

Couric closed the program, joking, “We’ll see you tomorrow, hopefully, maybe, some of you, two of you possibly, will watch the CBS Evening News.” Will the looser Couric, on web-only programs and YouTube, find its way onto that evening news program?
