Covering the Chrysler Bankruptcy

Among the big three networks, only NBC News produced a network special report on the Chrysler news from the White House with Brian Williams anchoring. ABC News and CBS News carried it on their respective Websites.

The cable news and business networks broadcast the news event just after noonET, as expected. CNN had a live camera showing employees at a Chrysler dealership in New York watching as Pres. Obama gave his remarks.

By 12:30 it was back to swine flu coverage.
