Dan Rather Memoir Coming in 2012
Our sister blog GalleyCat reports that former “CBS Evening News” anchor Dan Rather has signed a deal with Grand Central Publishing to write a memoir.
The book will cover major historical events ranging from the Watergate scandal to the Iraq War, and it will included very “personal and candid” section about leaving CBS News in a storm of controversy.
Rather claimed he was forced out of CBS News following a report about then-President George W. Bush‘s military record in the Texas Air National Guard. He has since sued the company, with the case progressing through the court system.
More on Rather’s book at GalleyCat.
