Well that didn’t take long. Just a few days after resigning from the Washington Post, journalist Dave Weigel has landed a new gig in television news.

Weigel has joined MSNBC as a paid contributor, and will appear regularly on “Countdown with Keith Olbermann,” as well as other programming on the network.

He resigned from the Post last week after a number of emails he sent on the liberal listserv Journolist were leaked to FishbowlDC.

Weigel was a surprise guest on last night’s edition of “Countdown,” where host Keith Olbermann announced that he was joining the network.
