Fed Chair on NewsHour

lehrer_pub.pngTwo weeks from today, PBS “NewsHour” anchor Jim Lehrer will sit down with Ben Bernanke, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, for an hour-long forum at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. The forum, which Lehrer will moderate with questions from an online and live audience, will air in three subsequent segments on July 27th, 28th, and 29th on “The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer” and will also be available on the NewsHour website.

Lehrer and Bernanke will take questions about the economy in general and the Fed’s role in it with reporting by economic correspondent Paul Solman.
