Fire Interrupts Headline News Broadcast

A small fire broke out in the Atlanta studio of CNN Headline News this afternoon.

This Livejournal user writes: “I am watching CNN Headline News and the anchors are like ‘Uh, we have to go to break. There’s a fire in studio.’ And then the camera cuts away and shows them evacuating the set and ripping their microphones off.

God, I love live TV.”

Does anyone have additional information? What was on fire? How long did it affect HLN’s broadcast?

> Update: 4:06pm: Stephen Spruiell has a theory: “Maybe Lou Dobbs got so hot with anger over the Dubai ports deal that he burst into actual flames.”
