FNC Tops Broadcast Nets For RNC Night 1

Exclusive: Sources tell TVNewser that Fox News topped all broadcast and cable networks at 10pmET last night, with 6.2 million viewers.

In 2004, FNC topped all networks each night of the Republican Convention, which lasted three nights.

Because of Hurricane Gustav and the changed schedule at the RNC and for coverage, Fox News was the top cable channel on Monday in Total Viewers and in the A25-54 demo, but did not beat the networks (NBC was tops). The networks broadcast a special hour of Hurricane Gustav coverage.
