How Long will Matt Lauer Anchor ‘Today?:’ ‘The Best Answer is, How Long Will I Continue to Love It?’

NBC’s Matt Lauer was alongside his former co-anchor Meredith Vieira this morning as the two anchored the culmination of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. In addition to anchoring the 7-9am show, Lauer and Vieira anchored a special report during the 10amET hour as the Royal Family appeared at the Buckingham Palace Balcony.

Before leaving for London, Lauer sat down with his cable colleague MSNBC’s Alex Witt for her Office Politics segment. Witt asked Lauer about his relationship with his two former co-anchors. She also asked him when will he know it’s time to say goodbye to “Today.” “The best answer is, how long will I continue to love it?”
