Imus Charity Probe Ends

imus1.jpg“The office of New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer has ended a probe into a charity run by radio talk show host Don Imus,” the WSJ and NYT reported this morning. On his radio show, Imus acknowledged that $1.8 million for visits by 100 kids is expensive, but said it was justified. “That’s what it is. I’m not making any apologies. Would I do it differently, no I wouldn’t,” he said. “It’s changing these kids lives.” He’s still fuming at the WSJ for what he calls a “vicious hatchet job.” Here are lots of Google News stories about the situation…
