Inquiry Into Dow Jones Deal?

B&C‘s John Eggerton scoops that a democratic member of the FCC is asking FCC chairman Kevin Martin to open an inquiry into Rupert Murdoch‘s proposed acquisition of Dow Jones. Michael Copps says he is concerned the News Corp. deal would allow one company to control two broadcast networks and two of the nation’s five largest newspapers.
