“Interim Primetime Coordinator” Bruce Perlmutter Leaving MSNBC Today

Bruce Perlmutter is leaving MSNBC,” TV Week’s Michele Greppi scoops. “He was executive producer of ‘Deborah Norville Tonight,’ which left the MSNBC lineup in January just shy of a year after launch.”

When primetime VP Phil Griffin moved to 30 Rock, Rick Kaplan named Perlmutter “interim primetime coordinator.”

But that apparently didn’t last long. Perlmutter’s last day is today; an MSNBC spokesperson said he is leaving to pursue other opportunities…
