Jeff Zucker: CNN Struck ‘Right Balance’ Of Zimmerman Trial and Egypt Coverage

CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker says that his channel struck the “right balance” when it came to juggling live coverage of the George Zimmerman trial and the military coup in Egypt last week. Zucker made his comments at the IESE Business School in New York, as relayed by the AP.

“I feel increasingly comfortable and confident that we got it in the right balance,” said Zucker, who is marking his sixth month at the helm of the cable news network and its affiliates…

“We cover both what’s important and what’s interesting, and it’s the mix of things that makes CNN great,” said Zucker, the former NBC Universal president.
