Kate Snow Anchors Memorial Day ‘Nightly’

Recent NBC hire Kate Snow might have just joined the network, but she’s already filling for Brian Williams. The former ABCer anchored “NBC Nightly News” this Memorial Day.

We spoke to Snow on her very first day at NBC — which was May 10th — and she told us that she was looking forward to other potential contributions at the network beyond just her position as a correspondent for “Dateline.” “There are all kinds of opportunities here and that was a big part of my decision to come over,” she said.

Before joining NBC, Snow had been the weekend anchor of “Good Morning America” on ABC and had occasionally filled in as anchor of “ABC World News.”
