King Says Fox News Is “A Republican Brand” (But “They’ve Been Nice To Me”)

What does Larry King think of the Fox News Channel? After all, the net’s primetime hosts stood up for King last year after the CNNer received some negative press; and just this week, Fox placed this ad in trade mags.

So what does King think of FNC? Here’s what he told the Chicago Sun-Times:

“They’re a Republican brand. They’re an extension of the Republican Party with some exceptions, [like] Greta van Susteren. But I don’t begrudge them that. [Fox CEO] Roger Ailes is an old friend. They’ve been nice to me. They’ve said some very nice things about me. Not [Bill] O’Reilly, but I don’t watch him.”
