Market Selloff: CNBC’s Best Week Since ’01
Last week (Feb. 26 to March 2), CNBC had its best week in its Business Day time period in the key 25-54 demo since the week of September 17, 2001 — the first week of trading after 9/11. CNBC’s Business Day programming runs from 5am to 7pm Monday through Friday. The net averaged 128,000 in the demo for the week. ![]()
Several network shows had their best week ever in the demo, including Kudlow & Co., Mad Money, and Fast Money. (Those shows premiered after 2001.)![]()
As always, CNBC notes that Nielsen doesn’t accurately measure its viewership because it “does not include ‘out-of-home’ viewing in places like offices, restaurants, health clubs and hotel rooms where CNBC has significant viewership.”
