Morning Show Ratings: Week of July 29

“Good Morning America” has extended its winning streak among total viewers to 50 weeks, its longest run at No. 1 in more than 21 years. The streak began just as NBC’s coverage of the London Summer Olympics ended. Compared to the same week last year, which was the first week of the games, the “Today” show is down -26% among total viewers and down -33% among younger viewers.

“GMA” and “CBS This Morning” both grew their audiences year-over-year. “GMA” is up +16% in total viewers and up +11% in the demo. CBS is up +17% in total viewers and flat in the demo. “GMA” led “Today” by +711,000 total viewers and +139,000 A25-54 viewers last week.

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.075M / NBC: 4.364M / CBS: 2.630M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 1.822M / NBC: 1.683M / CBS: 849,000
