"Underdog MSNBC Posts Strong Growth" is the headline of TV Week's November ratings recap. The story notes that Countdown with Keith Olbermann and the Doc Block "registered faster audience growth than the competition."

Michele Greppi writes: "MSNBC's 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. documentary slate drew a 31 percent bigger audience than last year's live shows, helping to vindicate a strategy that was derided by news purists when it kicked off in the fall."

According to this year-ago data, MSNBC's 10 p.m. numbers are up 88 percent in the 25-54 demo compared to last year, while 11 p.m. viewership is up 54 percent...
