NBC Draws Most TV Viewers For Inauguration

nbc_1-21.jpgMost people watching television during the day yesterday chose to watch NBC for inauguration coverage with ABC a very close second, according to Nielsen Fast National Data.

NBC – 10,406,000

ABC – 10,129,000

CBS – 7,049,000

• A25-54 demo:

NBC – 4,335,000

ABC – 3,931,000

CBS – 2,724,000

In prime time, FOX broadcast network was the only network without Inauguration coverage. And it won the night. ABC was second, CBS third and NBC fourth.

• The Neighborhood Ball on ABC was the #2 program at 8pm and the #1 show at 9pm.
• CBS’s “Change and Challenge” at 9pm came in fourth.
• NBC’s 10pm Inauguration special came in third.
