Williams, Bartiromo, Mitchell Pack Bags for G20 Coverage

NBC News announced coverage plans for the G20 Summit in London next week.

Brian Williams will anchor Nightly News from London Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Maria Bartiromo will anchor CNBC's "Closing Bell" Wednesday and Thursday.

Andrea Mitchell will cover the foreign policy issues for NBC News as well as anchor her 1pmET MSNBC show Tuesday through Thursday. (She's anchoring from Mexico City tomorrow as Secy of State Clinton meets with Mexican leaders).

NBC NEWS' BRIAN WILLIAMS TO BROADCAST LIVE FROM LONDON ON TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY OF NEXT WEEK


New York, N.Y. - The networks of NBC will provide extensive coverage of the G20 summit taking place next week in London. As world leaders from the most powerful economic countries in the world gather during one of the worst financial crisis in history, NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC and their online counterparts will offer wide-ranging coverage of the summit and President Barack Obama's visit to London.

NBC News' Brian Williams will anchor "Nightly News" from London from Tuesday, March 31 through Thursday, April 2. Chuck Todd, Savannah Guthrie, Andrea Mitchell, Jim Maceda, Stephanie Gosk, and Dawna Friesen will also be on location to offer reports for "Nightly" and "Today." Additionally, Adm. Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff will appear exclusively on "Today" to talk about national security and military issues.

Mitchell will host her MSNBC broadcast, "Andrea Mitchell Reports" (1 PM ET) from London on Tuesday through Thursday, she will also contribute to MSNBC primetime programs.

CNBC's Maria Bartiromo will be anchoring CNBC's " Closing Bell " live from London on the eve of the G20 summit as President Obama wraps up a day's worth of meetings with UK government officials. She will again anchor her program on Thursday April 2nd - the day of the G20 summit - with a wrap-up of the key developments. Throughout the two days, CNBC's Chief Washington Correspondent John Harwood will be reporting on the shaping of international regulatory reform as it unfolds on the ground.

Nightly.msnbc.com, the online home for "Nightly News," will feature special coverage of the G20 summit, including video of extended interviews and expert insight and analysis.
