In a follow-up today, the NYTimes’ Bill Carter writes that a CNN executive phoned a Fox executive to protest: “But according to one CNN executive, one member of that network’s top management did call a Fox executive to protest. But the executive would not name either of the executives involved and asked not to be identified because the information about the call was intended to be private. ”
