Nightline Tops Letterman During RNC

For the week of September 1, ABC’s “Nightline” outperformed CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman among Total Viewers and the A5-54 demo. This marks “Nightline’s” eighteenth victory (plus one tie) over Letterman in the demo and the thirteenth victory (plus two ties) over Letterman among Total Viewers.

“Nightline” also continues to close the gaps with the late night comedy shows. Season to date, “Nightline” closed the demo gap with Letterman by 84%, and with the Tonight Show with Jay Leno by 47%.
