O’Reilly Attacks Zucker, Ambushee To Guest On Olbermann

Bill O’Reilly spent his “Back of the Book” segment last night playing clips of the Amanda Terkel ambush and addressing the controversy that came from his Alexa Foundation appearance. She has since responded, and she’ll appear tonight on Countdown with Keith Olbermann (around 9:45pmET, due to Pres. Obama’s news conference).

But then O’Reilly turned his attention to NBC — and Jeff Zucker. “Elements at NBC News then encouraged the loons to protest the Alexa Foundation,” said O’Reilly.

Zucker, says O’Reilly, is the “man behind the curtain.” “Zucker is the guy who hires the hate, the executive who allows NBC’s airwaves to harm innocent people,” said O’Reilly. “With NBC’s programming a disaster he is almost single-handedly ruining a once-great brand.”

An NBC News spokesperson tells TVNewser: “NBC News has absolutely no connection to Think Progress or Amanda Terkel. As usual, Bill O’Reilly’s preposterous comments and wildly inaccurate accusations about us simply underscore his utter disregard for the truth.”
