O’Reilly Defends Fox News Against Stewart’s Criticisms
On “The Factor,” Bill O’Reilly spent his “talking points” segment last night defending the Fox News lineup from the criticisms leveled by Jon Stewart, who appeared on the show this week. Specifically, O’Reilly took on Stewart’s critiques of Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck and, in his conclusion said:
So I understand the shock and awe that some liberals feel about Fox News. I feel their pain. We are different, but that doesn’t mean the network is in business to shill for anybody. It just means that finally conservatives get a break on the tube. And if you object to that, you’re not fair and balanced.
TVNewser also got a shoutout on “The Factor” last night. In another segment about his interview with Stewart, Laura Ingraham joked:
Seeing the two of you together, you guys are pretty sweet together. It’s very entertaining. And I don’t know if this is true, this is just on TVNewser — it just crossed — that apparently you guys are going to announce a spring road tour called the ‘Scold and Kvetch Tour.’
O’Reilly’s full interview with Stewart is posted here.
