Palin Documentary FNC’s Best Ever
The Gov. Sarah Palin “carryover effect” described by FNC VP of news editorial Jay Wallace to TVNewser yesterday seems to have continued all the way to the weekend.
FNC’s hour-long Palin special, which premiered at 8pmET on Saturday and was reported by Greta Van Susteren, totaled 2.734 million Total Viewers and 673,000 in the A25-54 demo — making it the top-rated FNC prime time documentary in its history.
It was the highest-rated cable news program on Saturday, as well as when it repeated on Sunday, in both categories.
CNN will air VP documentaries at 9pmET and 10pmET this weekend, one for Palin and one for Sen. Joe Biden, and we hear MSNBC has hour-long documentaries for each VP candidate in the works as well.
