Paul Friedman Becomes #2 At CBS

Paul Friedman, a former executive producer at NBC News and executive vice president for ABC News, has been named vice president at CBS News, the network said today. As #2 to Sean McManus, Friedman will “oversee all aspects of the network’s hard news coverage.” The appointment is effective immediately.
