Phil Simms Out This Week With Back Injury
NFL on CBS lead analyst Phil Simms won’t be in the booth this week while recuperating from scheduled surgery on an ailing back.
Dan Fouts will replace Simms and work alongside play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz. The duo will call the San Diego-Oakland game on Sunday.
Simms is expected to return next week.
