Presidential Bookings
The presidential candidates have been busy this week, and their media appearances hit full stride this weekend.
• Sen. Barack Obama, fresh off an interview with FNC’s Bill O’Reilly, sits down with George Stephanopoulos for ABC’s This Week. Then, on Monday, he is interviewed on MSNBC by Keith Olbermann.
Meanwhile his VP pick, Joe Biden, heads to NBC’s Meet the Press for his first post-Convention interview.
• Sen. John McCain was interviewed by ABC’s Charlie Gibson earlier this week (Gibson called it “very genuine“) in an exclusive from the RNC. This weekend, McCain moves to CBS’ Face the Nation for an interview.
His VP pick, Sarah Palin will not be on the interview circuit just yet, but FNC airs an hour-long special on the candidate.
