…I mean, what else should we assume, now that Live & Direct has been moved to 10 p.m. — right up against Greta Van Susteren and Nancy Grace?

The three “Sirens of Sorrow,” as one e-mailer said today, create a virtual roadblock of tabloid news at 10 p.m. “I can’t wait to see how this ugly catfight pans out,” the e-mailer said. And I can’t imagine it panning out in Rita’s favor.

Rita’s allies will undoubtedly paint her move to 10 p.m. as a positive, as a show of support, as an indication that Rita’s audience will follow her. We’ll let the viewers, and the ratings, decide…
