Robin Roberts’ New ‘Be the Match’ PSA

robin roberts PSARobin Roberts is appearing in a new PSA for Be the Match and Stand Up For Cancer. The campaign, which launched yesterday and will run through June 30, will be in magazines, online and on social media encouraging people to support research of blood cancers and register to be a bone marrow donor.

The “Good Morning America” anchor has been a vocal supporter of Be the Match since she was diagnosed with MDS in 2012. The organization, which registers potential bone marrow donors, has seen a spike in participation since Roberts became involved.

“She looks so fantastic. Great message, great mission, fantastic photos,” George Stephanopoulos said on “GMA.” “It has made such a difference having Robin be so open about this.”
