CNN’s Ben Wedeman didn’t let a rubber bullet keep him from reporting on the flare-up of violence in Jerusalem. On Friday he Tweeted:
Took an Israeli police rubber bullet to the head. Just a scratch. After a few minutes to clean up, back to work. Stay calm and carry on.

As a seasoned war reporter, Wedeman is no stranger to getting in the middle of a conflict. In 2011 he and his crew were caught in a firefight in Libya. Last week, an NBC News crew also found itself caught up in the current Israeli-Palestinian violence following the murder of three Israeli teens and the possible revenge killing of a Palestinian boy last week.
