Shock! O’Reilly and Olbermann Disagree

FNC’s Bill O’Reilly took on some new targets earlier this week — GE, NBC and GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt. Talking Points on Monday’s O’Reilly Factor focused on GE’s connection with Iran.

O’Reilly put major blame on the CEO. “How many dead before GE gets out of there?,” he said. “If my child were killed in Iraq, I would blame the likes of Jeffrey Immelt. There’s no excuse for his behavior or his incompetence.”

MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann gave O’Reilly the Worst Persons bronze last night on Countdown due to these comments. He also had a theory why O’Reilly keeps attacking GE and its properties: “This is about me. He really thinks people do not know that his bosses have promised my bosses that he will stop talking about Jeff Immelt or NBC or GE if I stop talking about him. My bosses have said to me, ‘full steam ahead.’”
