Staff Reduction at ABC’s DC Bureau
As ABC News continues to move production to New York from Washington, DC, the network has offered seven more employees buyouts. The employees, from the engineering department, include three camera operators and four sound technicians. An ABC insider tells TVNewser the network hopes to get to the appropriate staffing levels with the “generous buyouts,” but if not, layoffs could be next.
