has hired Brian Ellis Martin as its new executive creative director.

He comes to the site from the4 [creative network] where he served as principal and executive creative director in charge of branded visual communications. He worked with clients ranging from the New York Times to Nike.

For, Martin, “will provide strategic visual, technical and conceptual guidance,” according to the release.

And maybe Martin can do something about that spam that is putting a crimp in the day of our FishbowlLA colleague Tina Dupuy.
