New England Can't Get Enough Patriots on TV

Monday night’s New England Patriots-New York Jets tilt was a hit nationwide, but it scored even bigger in New England.

The game was the area’s most-watched program since the football season began. In fact, “New England owns the 10 most-watched television programs in the Boston area” since the start of the campaign.

In the past seven weeks, only the Thanksgiving match against the Detroit Lions failed to earn at least a 30 HH rating. That game, however, posted a season-high HH share of 69. Pretty much, if you live in the Boston area and you were watching TV on Thanksgiving, you were watching the Patriots.

The record-setting ratings should continue for the rest of the season at the squad battles for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, especially as the team plays vital games against the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers in the next two weeks.
