GBTV Launching Nightly News Program

Former Fox News host Glenn Beck‘s web-TV network GBTV is adding a nightly newscast… sort of. The network will launch “Real News From The Blaze” at 7 PM on January 18. The program will feature a number of Blaze staffers with cable news backgrounds, including Amy Holmes, S.E. Cupp, Scott Baker and Will Cain. The Blaze is Beck’s news and commentary website.

The program will not be a typical news program, but will pursue its own agenda, as the announcement explains:

Each and every day there’s a whole world of news and information that goes unreported, ignored by the mainstream media. Stories, issues, and events that impact the daily lives of Americans young and old ignored, purposely discarded, or “reported” without the benefit of the full perspective or context. News = Truth…and the truth has no agenda.  Real News from The Blaze will play no favorites. The good, the bad, and the downright ugly will be presented unvarnished and complete without a nod to the left or the right.  News and analysis from the worlds of politics, national security, the economy, foreign policy, and whatever else impacts our lives.  Virginia Leahy, who helped develop and launch three primetime shows on HLN, will serve as executive producer.

Glenn Beck: The 23 Million Dollar Man

beck_6-4.jpgWhat list includes Angelina Jolie, Tiger Woods and Glenn Beck? This year’s annual “ranking of the world’s ultra famous,” the Forbes Celebrity 100.

Beck was the only TV news personality to make the list. Here’s how Forbes broke down the reasoning:

Beck’s rapidly expanding media empire includes multiple revenue sources: a TV show ($2 million), a radio show ($10 million), books ($5 million), speeches (half a million), appearances ($2.5 million) and a Web site ($3 million). The move from CNN to Fox News grabbed big headlines for the popular but polarizing pundit.

There’s also an update on Beck’s “The View” appearance. Breitbart.TV’s Scott Baker breaks down how Beck actually wasn’t lying about the Amtrak incident. Click continued to see the video…

One More Look at “BBS” Video Doctoring

Following up on the “bright blue scrotum” video that was doctored at the end, Breitbart.tv’s B-Cast co-host Scott Baker interviewed the person responsible for the clip. John Sanders, a correspondent for WBAL-TV, NBC’s Baltimore station, says, “I heard the very end of it and thought, ‘wow that little bit could go there and it would sound funny as long as I disclosed that he had not actually said it that way.’” The disclosure, however, did not show up until hours later. Check out the full show, including TVNewser’s appearance, below. Now we think the whole “BBS” (as co-host Liz Stephans called it) has been put to rest:
