“That is the Rudest Person. What is Going On?”

CNBC’s Charlie Gasparino unleashed an attack on former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey Ross this morning on Squawk Box. The discussion about the Eliot Spitzer scandal, quickly turned to the longtime corruption of New York state politics as a whole.

Gasparino charged that McCaughey Ross “didn’t do such a great job either.” A shell-shocked McCaughey Ross, still on the air said, “That is the rudest person. What is going on?” Becky Quick said, “I apologize for that. We’d love to have you back at some point and discuss what actually happened during your tenure.”
