> Monday’s premiere averaged 452,000 P2+. “Viewers are so used to MSNBC messing around with the 9 p.m. ET timeslot that they’ll probably forget he’s on,” an e-mailer says. “It will probably take a while for anyone to even realize there’s a new show on at that time.”

> CJR weighs in: “While ‘The Situation’ had many of the same problems as other cable news shows, it did have one significant, and surprising, thing going for it: It was nice.”

What people didn’t care for on that show was the notion that the debate wasn’t real, that they were simply repeating talking points to one another.”
