I am pleased to announce that Martin Bashir, Cynthia McFadden, and Terry Moran have been named co-anchors of Nightline. With Ted Koppel departing ABC News after a distinguished 42-year career, Terry, Martin, and Cynthia will assume anchor duties on November 28th with Terry in Washington and Martin and Cynthia in New York. As we build on Nightline’s great legacy, Cynthia, Terry, and Martin together with executive producer James Goldston have the experience, perspective, and intelligence to take the show into its next era.
